The Three Little Wolves and the Big Bad Pig by Madelyn

By Madelyn

Once upon a time there were three little wolves. The first one was black, the second one was gray, and the third was white with a little bit of gray on its paws. One day their mother mother called them around her bed and said,"My children it is time for you to go. You are old enough." The three little wolves went off to see the world.
The first one saw a beaver cutting wood. She said, "Will you give me some wood to build a house?" Certainly, so the beaver gave her lots and lots of wood. She built a log cabin. She was playing hop scotch in the garden. She saw the big bad pig coming down the road so she ran inside and locked the door. The big bad pig came up to the door and said, "Little frightened wolf let me come in." "No, not by the hair of my chinny chin chin.." "Then I will huff and puff and I will blow your house down," said the pig. The house fell down. She managed to escape. She went to her sister's house. Her sister made a rock house. They played tag in the yard until they both saw the pig. They ran inside and locked their door. The big bad pig wasn't called bad for nothing. He brought his sledge hammer. He said,"Little frightened wolves let me come in!" "No, not by the hair on my chinny chin chin." said the wolves. then I will hit your rock house down. the pig broke it down, but the wolves managed to escape again. This time they went to the 3rd sister's house. She had made her house of flowers. When they got there it was lunch time. They had lunch, then after lunch they went swimming. After swimming they saw the big bad pig. They ran inside and locked the door. The pig said,"You three little wolves let me in." No, no, no, not by the hair on our chinny chin chin. Then I will huff and puff, but instead of huffing and puffing he began to sniff  for a few minutes. Soon he became a good pig, the house of flowers made him happy. So the little wolves took him swimming and they all lived happily ever after.
